You enjoy the outdoors, being self-sufficient, and know what you want.

Now that you know who we are, and maybe you know a bit more about yourself,
let's switch it up and speak of factors that are out of our control which may affect delivery times.

Now, let's get to the nitty gritty.

Numero Uno(#1): (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

DO NOT send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
We do not offer returns or refunds for items sent to the manufacturer.
You must contact us in order to begin processing your return/refund.


You purchased from us, not the manufacturer.
(Hey, we have mouths to feed as well, including our own.)


Due to the nature of our business and products we sell, items that expire
sooner than 30 days from the date of purchase are not eligible for a refund.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INITIATING RETURNS/REFUNDS:

A. TIMEFRAME TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND:

For any item(s) to be eligible for a refund, you must first contact us at contact@backtothewilderness.com within 7 calendar days of receipt of your item(s). Be sure to include the following information in your email:

  1. Title the email “BTTW REFUND – ORDER ID” (Replace Order ID with the order ID you have received in your purchase email).

  2. Reason for return (Examples: Wrong Size, DOA(Dead on arrival), etc).


 

B. METHOD OF REFUND:

The money will be refunded to the original payment method you've used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 – 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

If the product is damaged in any way or you have initiated the return after 7 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.


 

C. PRODUCT CONDITION:

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be unopened and in the original packaging and not damaged.


 

D. SHIPPING COST FOR RETURNS:

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. At our discretion and dependent on the unique situation that applies with regards to your item return, we may provide you a store credit for the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Other factors which may delay the exchanged items may include stock levels and product availability at our suppliers.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, otherwise we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

E. EXEMPTIONS FOR RETURNS/REFUNDS:

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.


Additional non-returnable items:


- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after receipt


AFTER YOU HAVE CONTACTED US BY EMAIL FOR RETURN/REFUND


 

1. REFUNDS:

Once your email is received we will contact you within 3 – 5 business days with the return address to ship your item(s). Once your return is received and inspected we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 – 10 calendar days.


     

    2. LATE & MISSING REFUNDS:


    If you have not received a refund yet first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet please contact us at

    3. SALE ITEMS:

    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

    We only replace sale items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at
